Exciting news everyone!   In a partnership with Thrivent, Metro Lutheran Ministry has not only received a grant for $15,0000 but for every $2 donated, Thrivent will match $1, up to $15,000 to support the community gardens and food banks of Metro Lutheran Ministry during this time of need. But hurry – deadline match is December 30, 2020.

Online donations for this campaign must be made using Thrivent’s online giving platform. These donations will run through InFaith Community Foundation and Thrivent will pay the online processing fees up to $100,000 in fees per calendar year, so 100% of your donation will go to MLM. 

Are you a Thrivent Member?  If so, you may be able to direct Choice Dollars or a Thrivent Action Team to support MLM’s community gardens, food pantry, Christmas Store or one of our many ministries.

Contact rebeckanoel@mlmkc.org if you need some ideas on how to put your Thrivent Action Teams to work.  Some options include:  stocking boxes, giving away Thanksgiving food, and gathering items for the Christmas Store.
