Metro Lutheran Ministry’s Family Empowerment Program provides stabilization for families and individuals in the Greater Kansas City area. The holistic approach helps families with services relating to housing, employment, financial management, public benefits access and other quality of life issues.

The goal of this program is to provide the basics necessary to stabilize a household, keep children enrolled in school, and equip the family with the tools necessary to maintain their household, develop assets, and find

a plan for future sustainability.

Case Management services include income supports for homelessness prevention or rapid re-housing, comprehensive coaching, and significant resources that are crucial for family stability and empowerment.

Participants maybe referred by the local school district homeless liaison, through the Continuum of Care's local Coordinated Entry system, or by other social service agency or partner referral
