Metro Lutheran Ministry’s Family Empowerment Program to provide stabilization for families with school-age children. The holistic approach helps families with services relating to housing, employment, financial management, public benefits access and other quality of life issues.

The goal of this program is to provide the basics necessary to stabilize a family and keep their children enrolled in school, and to equip the family with the tools necessary to maintain their household, develop assets, and find

a plan for future sustainability.

Case-Management services include long term program participation, comprehensive coaching, and significant resources that are crucial for family stability and empowerment.

Kansas City Central participants are referred by the Kansas City Public Schools.

Kansas City Northland participants are referred by the Clay & Platte County School districts.

Kansas City Kansas participants are referred by the McKinney Vento program of the KCK School districts.
